Authored as a legendary mortal tribal-founder ancestor (Oghuz-sons pattern), son of Malope and brother of Kwena, Kgatla, Ngwato and Ngwaketse. NOTE ON A VARIANT: a widely recorded tradition makes Mohurutshe a daughter and senior house, with Kwena the senior son; the corpus follows Malope's own registry entry, which lists Mohurutshe among the five founder-sons, and so registers the figure here with sex male while disclosing the daughter-variant. No mother is registered in the corpus, so only the father edge is wired.
