Half-divine eldest of the Hinilawod triplets; son of the goddess Alunsina by the mortal chieftain Datu Paubari. The three-quests-for-three-wives narrative is the central Labaw Donggon sub-cycle — Anggoy Ginbitinan, Abyang Durunuun, Malitong Yawa Sinagmaling Diwata. The Saragnayan-imprisonment-and-rescue-by-infant-sons episode sets up the multi-generational structure: the demigod-father defeated, the demigod-grandsons (further-fractional but still divine-descended) avenging him. Departed northward after the reunion-feast — the north-quadrant of the Hinilawod world-geography. Subject of the longest single sub-cycle of the epic (~2,325 lines).
Hinilawod / Sugidanon epic (the eldest-brother cycle is the longest single sub-cycle of the epic, ~2,325 lines in the F. Landa Jocano transcription); F. Landa Jocano academic compilation
