Mangindusa, also called Magindusa or by the title Nagsalad, is the supreme deity of the Tagbanwa of central Palawan and the ruler of the heavens. Tagbanwa cosmology envisions a series of stacked skyworlds, at whose summit lies Awan-awan, the region beyond the visible heaven; there Mangindusa is imagined seated with his feet dangling downward into the void. He is above all the guardian of moral order, and it is he who punishes incest and other grave offenses among the living. Sources name Bugawasin as his consort.
