Polo

Polo is the kindly god of the sea in Tagbanwa belief. He is regarded as a benevolent power whose aid is sought in times of illness, and his name is spoken in the healing invocations of the community. He stands within the class of well-disposed deities, in contrast to the malevolent environmental spirits that beset the living.
