Storm Lady

Female storm deity. The Taíno word 'juracán' (hurricane) — root of English 'hurricane' — is the storm itself rather than a separate god; popular sources sometimes wrongly personify Juracán as a deity, so it is recorded here as a phenomenon, not a figure.
