Mountain god of the great Nyenchen Tanglha range of northern Tibet and guardian of Lake Namtso, bound under oath by Padmasambhava as a protector of the Nyingma teachings; depicted as a white-robed warrior on a white horse. A pre-eminent yul-lha / gnyan deity.
