Legendary founder and reformer of the Bön (Yungdrung Bön) tradition of Tibet, born in Olmo Lungring; a royal who renounced his throne and attained enlightenment, occupying a place in Bön akin to Śākyamuni in Buddhism. His life is told in the mDo 'dus, gZer mig and gZi brjid.
