Takyayen

Half-divine son of the Tinguian star-goddess Gagayoma by the mortal Aponitolau. The unique parthenogenetic-finger-birth — Takyayen popping out from between Gagayoma's last two fingers after Aponitolau pricked them at her instruction — distinguishes him from the standard womb-birth pattern across Philippine demigod traditions. The demigod whose existence is itself an etiological-cosmological narrative-fact rather than a hero-with-quests narrative.
