Notirzi, written Nòtïrzi, is one of the named divinities of the Toda, occurring in the religious prayers and chant-formulae of the dairy cult recorded by Rivers and by Emeneau, where the name is set beside that of the great goddess Teikirzi. Like many members of the very large Toda pantheon, Notirzi is known chiefly through liturgical invocation rather than through a developed narrative; the figure is preserved as a distinct named being in the prayer-texts of the sacred dairies of the Nilgiri Hills.
