Gwenhwyfach
Welsh · mortal · post roman · Recorded classification
A figure who exists in the record for exactly one gesture, and whose gesture the tradition rates as one of the three most consequential blows ever struck on the island. That is precisely the kind of person a registry built outward from famous names never reaches, and it is the second time in two lanes that this programme has found one — lane 18 found Manthara, the maid who puts the idea in Kaikeyi's head.
