Oshosi
Yoruba · deity · mythic · deity
Oshosi hunts, and in the Americas he also judges. He belongs with Ogun and Eshu in the group a Yoruba household deals with when it needs something found, taken or decided — Ogun clears the path with iron, Oshosi finds the thing at the end of it. In Cuba he acquired a second office, patron of people wrongly accused, which is not hard to account for. The registry had the Cuban Ochosi and not him.
