Yewa

Yewa holds the strangest combination in the pantheon and it is coherent once you see the order: chastity, dreams, purity, death, decomposition. She is the orisha of the point where things are set apart and left alone — the cemetery, the body between death and rot, the woman who does not marry — and her river runs through the western country that carries her name. In the diaspora her priesthood is small and her rites are kept apart from the others, which is the same idea in practice.
