Tedi-Kidi

Tedi-Kidi is the eponymous figure of a tale in the Zaghawa oral repertoire recorded by Marie-Jose and Joseph Tubiana. He stands among the human protagonists of a corpus that repeatedly dramatises how the weak overcome ogres, giants and other overbearing powers through cunning, held throughout these tales to be a cardinal virtue beside courage.
