Yangaima

Yangaima is a prosperous figure of the Ture cycle whose fortune rests on the plumes inherited from his father. In the tale that bears his name Ture covets and makes off with this feather-wealth, the theft turning on the trickster's habitual cunning. Yangaima belongs to the gallery of wealthy or powerful characters whom Ture outwits across the corpus.
