Afrasiab
Zoroastrian · mortal · legendary · mortal
The largest single absence in the registry's Iranian holdings after the prophet. A corpus that held Kay Kavus, Kay Khosrow, Siyavash, Rostam and Sohrab held five figures whose stories are all, in different ways, about this one man, and did not hold him. He is also in the Avesta as Frangrasyan, so this is not a figure who only exists in the tenth-century epic.
