Persian Zal (Zal-e Zar, Dastan), white-haired hero of Sistan, son of Sam and foster-son of the Simorgh; husband of Rudaba of Kabul and father of Rostam. Named in the prose of zoroastrian_rostam (son of Zal and Rudaba).
