Uyuyewi

Elder of the Ahayuta twin war gods, son of the Sun Father (begotten on waterfall foam). With his younger brother Ma'aseewi he leads the people up from the underworld and protects them. Cushing's folktales call the elder twin Áhaiyúta; Ahayu:da is the collective term for the pair.
