Per Khorenatsi (1.12) he settled the north-east by the lake and mountains that bear his name (the Geghama range, Lake Gegham = Lake Sevan, the province Gegharkunik) and built the dwelling Gegh; his descendant Sisak is the eponym of Syunik.
