Wife of Ara the Beautiful and mother of Anushavan Sosanver in the Khorenatsi Haykazuni tradition. Her faithful marriage is the narrative foil to the Ara-Semiramis episode: it is fidelity to Nuard that motivates Ara's fatal rejection of the Assyrian queen's proposal (Khorenatsi 1.15), and through their son Anushavan the Haykazuni line continues past the Semiramis occupation.
