Insoraki, a young woman of the coast, is the virgin mother of the Koreri myth. Struck by the fruit that Manarmakeri had charmed at the Morning Star's instruction, she conceived without a man and bore the child Manarbew, an event that scandalised her kin and led to the family's expulsion. Sharing Manarmakeri's exile and his transformation, she is remembered as the first wife of the Lord and the female ancestress of the Koreri hope; the prophetic 'mother of Koreri' venerated in later movements was understood to renew her role.
