Sujā, asura-daughter of Vemacitrin (Vepacitti) and chief consort of Śakra; her name is preserved in the Sakka epithet Sujampati. Named in both the buddhist_sakra entry (married to Sujā, daughter of the asura lord Vemacitrin) and the buddhist_vemacitrin entry (father-in-law of Sakka through his daughter Sujā). Classed demigod as the asura-born consort raised to the deva-heaven.
