Achvizr

Etruscan · deity · classical · deity

Achvizr is known from mirrors, where the name is inscribed beside one of the attendant figures in the circle that surrounds Turan. She embraces Alpanu in at least one scene, which is the firmest thing that can be said about her relations. There is no etymology for the name, no cult site, no text, and no myth; the record exists because the Etruscans wrote the name beside a figure they drew, and it goes no further than that.
