Thanr

Thanr belongs to the group of named goddesses who attend the great events on the backs of Etruscan mirrors, and the events she attends are births. She appears with Thalna in several such scenes, and embraces Alpanu in another. Beyond that the dossier is empty: no temple, no festival, no story. The mirrors give the Etruscans' own labels for these figures, which is why they are individually recordable at all, and the record confines itself to what those labels and scenes support.
