Daughter of the forest-king Tapio and the forest-mistress Mielikki, a maiden of Tapiola and goddess of the forest game-animals; her name reads as little wind. She is invoked in the Kalevala forest-charms (Runo 32) alongside Tapio, Mielikki, Tellervo and Nyyrikki to drive the game and the kine from the thickets toward the hunter and herder. Wired as daughter of finnish_tapio and finnish_mielikki and sister of Nyyrikki and Tellervo.
