Aganus

Greek · quartigod · heroic age · quartigod

Quartigod son of Helen and Paris in the four-son Apollodoran cluster. The lightest-attested of Helen's named children — Aganus is omitted entirely from the Dictys-Cretensis three-son list, which gives only Bunomus, Corythus, and Idaeus. Name etymology ("gentle") may suggest a name-only character whose function in the genealogy is decorative. Likely also died at the fall of Troy; sources do not specify whether he was among the roof-collapse three or perished separately.
