Idaeus

Greek · quartigod · heroic age · quartigod

Quartigod son of Helen and Paris; the Mt-Ida-named child commemorating Paris's shepherd-origin landscape. Died young at Troy in the roof-collapse death shared with Bunomus and Corythus. Note: there is also an unrelated Idaeus who is herald of Priam in the Iliad — a separate mortal figure NOT to be confused with this child.
