Married Hieromneme daughter of Simoeis; father of Capys, grandfather of Anchises, great-grandfather of Aeneas (Iliad 20.232-241). This is the branch Poseidon preserves in Iliad 20 on the prophecy that the descendants of Aeneas will rule the Trojans.
