Deioneus

Son of Eurytus of Oechalia ('Deion' in the Hesiodic Catalogue), distinguished by the one tradition (Plutarch Theseus 8.3) in which Theseus gives him Perigune, daughter of Sinis, in marriage; he falls with his brothers at the sack of Oechalia. Mortal-tier. Distinct from Deion/Deioneus son of Aeolus, father of Cephalus.
