Scion daughter of Thyestes (granddaughter of the quartigod Pelops). The instrument and victim of Thyestes's oracle-driven revenge: lain with by her own father in the dark at Sicyon, she bears Aegisthus. Married unwittingly to her uncle Atreus, who rears Aegisthus as his own. When the sword she wrested from her ravisher reveals her father's identity, she kills herself with it. Mother of Aegisthus. Distinct from the Pelopia who is a daughter of Niobe and Amphion.
