Her hand was the prize of the famous cattle-raid contest: Neleus demanded the herd of Phylacus, and her suitor Bias gained her only through his brother Melampus, who suffered a year of imprisonment to win the cattle. Named in the prose of greek_neleus as his sole daughter, sought as bride by many wooers.
