Brihaspati

The two gurus are the cleanest opposed pair the tradition has after Indra and Vritra: one teaches the gods, the other teaches their enemies, and each is competent. Lane 16 added Shukra for his part in the Yayati and Bali stories without his opposite number; this supplies it.
