Shishupala
Hindu · mortal · dvapara yuga · mortal
He is best known for the hundred offences: Krishna is said to have promised to forgive him a hundred insults and to have beheaded him with the Sudarshana discus at the hundred-and-first, at the rajasuya sacrifice. The treatment consulted gives the alliance, the command and the elopement and does not give the beheading or the count, so the record does not. That is a deliberate stop, and the count is a census note rather than a claim.
