Designated heir-apparent of the eighth Sapa Inca Viracocha Inca, displaced and killed when his half-brother Cusi Yupanqui defended Cuzco against the Chanka and seized the throne as Pachacuti. Named in the prose of Viracocha Inca and Pachacuti as Inca Urco. Paternity by Viracocha Inca is secure; his maternity is reported variously (the principal coya Mama Runtu in some accounts, a secondary wife Curi Chulpa in others), so only the paternal parent is set here. Scion-class.
