Kotoshironushi

He agrees immediately and then removes himself, which is the least examined and most consequential act in the episode: Izumo's case is conceded by the son whose office is speaking on his father's behalf, and then the spokesman is gone. His disappearance is described as hiding himself behind a green fence of branches, which is the formula the Kojiki uses for a god withdrawing from the world. He is widely identified with Ebisu, whom the registry already holds, and the census records that identification without merging the two.
