Äkyantho' is the Lacandon god of foreigners and of the non-Lacandon peoples, presiding over trade, metal goods, and healing remedies. Pale or yellow in appearance, he is the father of Hesuklistos and the divine counterpart of the outsiders whose commerce and medicine the Lacandon attribute to him. He is a brother of Hachäkyum and Sukunkyum.
