Xkʼaleʼox is the consort of Hachäkyum and a mother among the gods, associated with the moon and with the domestic and generative sphere. She appears in the northern Lacandon narratives recorded by Bruce as Hachäkyum's wife and the mother of his children, among them the singer-god Kʼayum. Sources differ on her name, which is also given as Akʼna, 'Our Mother'.
