Eyá, the West Wind, is the second-born of the Four Winds (Tȟaté Tób), sons of Tȟaté and Ité. Though second by birth he holds the birthright of the eldest, having displaced Yatá; his quarter is the West, the realm of the Thunder-beings, and he governs the end of day and the year.
