Kounu

Kounu is the Meitei goddess who is the consort of the mountain-god Koubru (Koupalu) and the guardian of the northern direction, named in the prose of manipuri_koubru as his consort. She has her own abode on Mount Kounu and a second on Mount Koubru; both are Meitei pilgrimage sites. Authored here with the spouse link to Koubru.
