Radia Sulayman is the younger brother of Indarapatra and the first champion sent against the monsters of Mindanao. He slays the many-limbed Kurita on Mount Kabalalan and the man-shaped, flesh-eating Tarabusaw on Mount Matutum, but is torn apart and killed when the colossal bird Pah crashes down upon him. His brother later gathers his remains and restores him to life. In the fourfold reckoning of the beasts, the giant bird and a seven-headed bird are left for Indarapatra to destroy.
