Daughter of Sigurd and Brynhildr, and the bridge between the Vǫlsung cycle and the saga of Ragnar Loðbrók: raised in hiding as the crow-girl Kráka, she became Ragnar's queen and mother of his sons (Ívarr the Boneless, Björn Ironside, Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye), carrying the Vǫlsung blood into the legendary royal lines of Scandinavia.
