The full story has Odin kill Baugi's nine field-hands with a whetstone, hire himself out to do their whole season's work alone, and take a drink of his brother's mead as the wage — which is a labour contract, not a theft, and Baugi honours it because he agreed to it. He is in this batch because a story about how a god got poetry out of a mountain needs the man with the drill.
