Ammaí Kerriíaí
Oscan · deity · Oscan Sabellic religion; pre Roman to Roman Italy · deity
The Mother of the Agnone list, under the same Cereal cult-title as the Daughter who stands beside her. Reference treatments gloss her as Demeter, and the pairing of a Mother and a Daughter in a grain sanctuary is obviously suggestive; but the tablet is a list of recipients, not a myth, and it does not say that the two are kin or that either is Ceres herself. What it does establish is that the Oscan sanctuary honoured a goddess addressed simply as Mother.
