Sydyk

Sydyk is righteousness with a father and a brother. His name is the root behind Melchizedek — the priest-king of Salem in Genesis whose name means 'my king is righteousness', or 'my king is Sydyk', depending on how much Canaanite religion you are willing to hear in it — and behind Adonizedek in Joshua. Philo makes him and Misor a pair, which is what the language does anyway: sedeq and mishor are a standing word-pair in Northwest Semitic for right dealing, and a euhemerist writing in Greek turns a word-pair into two brothers.
