Juventas

Juventas is the age at which a Roman boy became liable to be called up, which is why a goddess of youth sat on the Capitol rather than in a nursery. When the great temple of Jupiter was laid out, the augurs deconsecrated the shrines already on the hill so they could be moved — and two would not go: Terminus and Juventas. The Romans read it as a promise that their boundaries and their young men would never give way. Terminus is already in this registry; the story belongs to both of them, and neither record asserts a relation the sources do not.
