Ag-ag, the crow, is a theriomorphic progenitor figure in the divine genealogy of the northern Semang. Evans records that the goddesses Jamoi, the divine wife elsewhere called Manoid, and Jalang were Ag-ag's daughters, and that Klang, the hawk, was their brother. The crow thus stands at the head of the small bird-formed family from which the goddesses of the Semang pantheon descend; the sources record nothing further of Ag-ag's own origins or deeds.
