Pharaoh of the 25th Dynasty (~690-664 BCE). Ruled both Kush and Egypt. Mentioned in 2 Kings 19:9 and Isaiah 37:9 as Tirhakah, the king who came to defend Hezekiah's Jerusalem against Sennacherib. Lost Egypt to Assyrian invasion under Esarhaddon and Ashurbanipal. Pyramid at Nuri.
