Kushite · demigod · 25th dynasty · demigod

Demigod last 25th-dynasty pharaoh of Egypt. Per the Dream Stela vision, on the night before his coronation he saw two serpents representing Lower and Upper Egypt — one of the canonical Egyptian royal-dream-prophecy narratives. Briefly reconquered Memphis c. 664 BCE; the Ashurbanipal counter-campaign of 663 BCE sacked Thebes (the canonical "Wo-Amon" of Nahum 3:8). The 25th Dynasty's rule of Egypt ended with this campaign; the Kushite kingdom of Napata continued to exist as a regional power for the next several centuries (the so-called Napatan Period, c. 656-270 BCE), eventually relocating its center to Meroë. Per Manetho his historical-genealogical father is Taharqa (or his nephew per Dream Stela contested reading); registered here as a direct demigod-of-amani per the existing registry convention for the Kushite dynasty.
