Entered as a demigod. Son of Maui Motu'a (parentId) and husband of Hina; father of Maui Kisikisi. In a minority of tellings it is 'Atalanga rather than Kisikisi who brings fire — noted, with the deed assigned to Kisikisi per the dominant recension. Sex male; immortal.
