The senior 'Tangaloa' (one of the three cosmos-dividers with Hikule'o and Maui, who took the sky) and the descent from the Touia-'o-Futuna twin-pairs are recorded here rather than authored as separate figures, being outside the firmly-developed core. His developed myth — the toa-tree descent and the begetting of the first Tu'i Tonga — is firmly attested. Sex male; immortal.
