Medrawd
Welsh · mortal · post roman · mortal
He is NOT recorded as Arthur's son or nephew. The parentage that makes Mordred what he is in the later tradition is not in the Welsh material the treatment consulted describes, and the record does not import it. The oldest Welsh notice of Camlann names both men as falling there and does not say they were enemies at all; this record follows the Triad, which does, and says so.
